“Like a spiritual carpool lane, we all travel faster and further when we don’t travel alone.” “THE REFINER’S FIRE” Coming this Fall - Seven Weeks of Spiritual Community Beginning September 29th through November 10th,church members and friends will be meeting in small groups at various locations throughout the Bay Area for 5 - 7 weeks. Plan ahead to set aside six weeks to be a part of a life-changing experience starting on September 29th. We’ll have a special sermon series that is linked with a set of personal devotions and many new small groups that will be covering the same topics each week. We’ll be exploring how God can shape us and refine us through the fires of challenge and conflict and make us more and more like Him. Give six weeks of your life to experiencing Christian community in all its fullness and see if it doesn’t lift your spirits and fill your heart with a new vision and strength. Our four Adult Sabbath School Classes will be covering the same themes. The four classes meet at various locations around the church campus from 10:30 -11:30 a.m. every Saturday. Our Study Group will be meeting each Sabbath after church for lunch and bible study. We are asking for those attending to bring whatever translation of the Bible you would like to study and share with others. The topic for the series is “how God can shape us and refine us hrough the fires of challenge and conflict and make us more and more like Him”.
