Lots of space with no furniture and no people.
Gary Reece stripped some of the old equipment for use in the video studio
at Mountain View Academy. Pete Tremblay is going to try to sell our old
chandeliers on EBay.

construction company, not our men!
They are the instructions for the crew that will tear everything away from the frame of the building tomorrow. |

The reconstruction area is sealed tight
in preparation for stripping the sheetrock off the walls tomorrow. It
will be a large cloud of dust, for one thing. But for another, it's a
certainty that asbestos is contained in nearly everything built in 1963-4--rock,
tape, paint, ceiling "cottage cheese."

Here you see the preparation for dealing
with the removal of asbestos-laden materials. The boxes on the floor are
powerful filters which will gather microscopic particles in the air, and
send the clean air out the windows of the building.

Times have changed not much call for wood paneling like that, and the toilets are now illegal to install due to water conservation laws. |
